TJ Robertson Named Kings Goalie Coach

The Komoka Kings are pleased to announce the addition of TJ Robertson as the club’s goaltending coach.

TJ comes in with a great deal of experience both on the ice and as a coach. He spent his childhood playing in the London area. After his minor hockey days concluded, TJ transitioned to the now-defunct Jr. D level, with the Delhi Flames, with whom he spent two seasons.

Following his time as a player, Robertson spent over a decade as coach, spending time developing players at a variety of levels.

TJ is thrilled to be joining the Kings this season, saying: “I am a big supporter of Junior hockey at any level, and I am excited to have the opportunity to give back to a game that has given me so much over the years. I appreciate the opportunity that Roop and the Komoka Kings organization have presented me, and I look forward to bringing my experience in hopes that I can help the team be successful.”

Kings President and GM Roop Chanderdat is equally excited to have Robertson join the staff, as he went on to say: “TJ is a good fit with our coaching staff and he has a great working relationship with Rumun. We have 2 young goalies this season, and TJ’s good communication & listening skills, along with his coaching knowledge and experience, make him a terrific asset for the club.”

TJ Robertson joins Head Coach Rumun Ndur as well as assistant coaches Matt Bowes and Franco Sproviero on the Kings coaching staff. The Kings look forward to a return to form in the 2023-2024 season.
