The Komoka Kings are proud to announce the team’s leadership group for the 2023-2024 season.
Adam Zuckerman has been named captain of the team, with Judd Katz and Justin Skirten being named assistant captains.
Zuckerman is entering his third year with the Kings, being one of the longest-tenured active members of the roster. Over his time in Komoka, Zuckerman has played 86 games, posting 26 goals and 47 assists for 73 points. Adam has additionally displayed lots of leadership qualities over his time as a King, wearing the “A” last year as an assistant captain, demonstrating hard work and dedication in both of his seasons with the club.
Katz is a 20-year old defenceman who joined the Kings last year. Over that season he played 40 games, scoring 10 goals and adding 19 assists for 29 points. Katz was well-known to stick up for his teammates whenever it was required last season. A former Peterborough Petes draft pick, with games played under his belt in multiple leagues, the experience Katz provides will be an asset.
Skirten is an 18-year old forward who signed with Komoka last season. He was a 2022 selection of the London Knights in the U18 draft and played some big minutes for the Kings last year, posting 11 goals and 9 assists for 20 points. Skirten led both in his play on the ice and his work ethic off the ice as well.
The Kings congratulate Adam, Judd and Justin on being named captains for this season, and look forward to a strong year with the team in 2023-2024!
