The Komoka Kings are pleased to announce the signing of 2007-born goaltender Matthew Koprowski.
Koprowski stands at 6’3, weighing in at 181 pounds. A native of Komoka, Matthew played last season with the Elgin-Middlesex Canucks U16 team. In the regular season, he posted a 2.77 goals against average in 17 games. In 7 playoff games for the Canucks, he put up an impressive 2.17 goals against average.
At the conclusion of the 2022-2023 season, Koprowski was selected in the 4th round, 72nd overall, by the Owen Sound Attack in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection.
The Kings look forward to Matthew’s impacts between the pipes this season.
