The Komoka Kings are pleased to announce the hiring of Adam Simpson as the club’s new Assistant General Manager.
Simpson brings several years of experience within the local hockey community, having contributed both behind the bench and in talent evaluation. From 2019 to 2022, he served as an associate coach with the U18 AAA London Junior Knights, helping guide highly successful rosters. In 2022, he joined the Elgin-Middlesex Canucks U18 team, where he remained as an associate coach for the past three seasons.
In addition to his coaching background, Simpson has been actively involved in player recruitment and development, showcasing a strong eye for talent both on and off the ice. He currently works as a scout for the OHL’s Saginaw Spirit, where he continues to illustrate his expertise in identifying and evaluating young prospects.
Simpson expressed his enthusiasm about joining the Kings organization, stating: “I am very excited to be joining the Kings organization. I have called Komoka home the past three years, building the U18 AAA program in Elgin-Middlesex into a Telus Cup Contender. I look forward to the opportunity to carry on that success at the GOJHL level.”
Kings President and General Manager Roop Chanderdat welcomed Simpson to the team, saying: “Adam is a very knowledgeable hockey mind, who has an eye for talent. Adding him to our hockey operations department will be a terrific addition to the team.”
The Komoka Kings are excited to continue building for the future and look ahead to the club’s upcoming Prospect Evaluation Camp, taking place April 29th and May 1st at the Komoka Wellness Centre.
