The Komoka Kings are pleased to announce the re-signing of 2003-born goaltender Omar Hage for the 2022-2023 season.
Omar is a 2020 2nd round choice of the Hamilton Bulldogs in the OHL’s U18 Draft, who spent last season with the Kings and was always a force between the pipes. In his debut season in the GOJHL, Hage posted a record of 15-15-2, with a 3.64 GAA and a .914 save percentage. Hage was also named to the 2021-2022 GOJHL Top Prospects Team. Kings fans were often dazzled by Omar in the between the pipes, as he made many highlight-reel saves over the course of the season.
Hage joins Josh Hannivan in goal for Komoka, giving Kings fans a tandem to be excited about heading into the upcoming campaign.
The Kings look forward to a strong push in the 2022-2023 season.
