The Komoka Kings are pleased to announce the signing of 2006-born forward Gavin McGahey-Smith.
Last season, the winger played 27 games with the U16 AAA London Junior Knights, where he put up 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points, averaging just under a point per game. In the playoffs, Gavin put up four goals and four assists for eight points in as many playoff games. He also played two games as an AP with the Strathroy Rockets.
This summer, he was selected in the 8th round, 151st overall by the Oshawa Generals in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection.
The Kings look forward to a strong push in the 2022-2023 season.
