Cowan Selected to Team Canada’s U17 Capital City Roster

Friday afternoon, Hockey Canada announced their U17 roster for the Capital City Challenge, which begins November 26th in Ottawa. Among the 66 players named to the team was Kings forward Easton Cowan.

Cowan, born in 2005, was the 2nd round pick (25th overall) by the London Knights in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection. He arrived in Komoka along with Nick Yearwood, three games into the season and has since put up 5 goals and 11 assists for 16 points in 12 games, which is tied for the most points among 16 year olds in the GOJHL this season. Since his arrival, Cowan has been a key piece for the Kings and always plays a major role when he is out on the ice.

The entire Komoka Kings organization congratulates Easton on this well-deserved, impressive honour!

The Kings next home game is next Saturday, November 13th, against the St. Marys Lincolns. Come on down to support the team!
