As Casey Departs, Kings Begin Coaching Search

FRIDAY MARCH 24TH 2023

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

KOMOKA, ONT. – Komoka Kings President and GM Roop Chanderdat has announced the departure of Kings Head Coach Adam Casey.

Adam will be stepping away from the organization in order to focus more on his family. Casey was hired to be an assistant coach in the washed out 2020-2021 season, before taking over the reins, as head coach, in 2021-2022. That season, he coached the winningest regular season team since the move to Komoka, amassing a 22-22-4 record. Through his two seasons as head coach, the Kings compiled a record of 33-58-7.

Assistant Coach Inch Rahaman will also not be returning for next season.

The Kings would like to thank Adam and Inch for their hard work and dedication to the Kings organization.

The organization has now begun the search for a new head coach for the 2023-2024 campaign. All interested applicants are asked to submit their candidacy via email, to Kings President and GM Roop Chanderdat, at roop@komokakings.com.
